65-241. State financial assistance to local health departments; definitions. As used in K.S.A. 65-241 to 65-246, inclusive: (a) "Local health department" means any county, city-county or multicounty department of health. (b) "Secretary" means secretary of health and environment. (c) "Fiscal year" means the period commencing January 1 of any year and ending December 31 of the same year. (d) "State financial assistance" means the total amount of money available for distribution to local health departments under this act. History: L. 1982, ch. 257, § 1; L. 1983, ch. 205, § 1; July 1.
