65-6b01. Amygdalin (laetrile); definitions. As used in this act: (a) "Physician" means a person licensed to practice medicine and surgery by the state board of healing arts. (b) "Medical care facility" means the same as the meaning ascribed thereto in K.S.A. 65-425. (c) "Health care facility" means a facility other than a medical care facility providing care for persons who are ill or infirm and includes adult care homes as such term is defined by K.S.A. 39-923. (d) "Written informed request" means the request for the prescription of amygdalin (laetrile) and the form for such request established under K.S.A. 65-6b05. History: L. 1978, ch. 239, § 1; July 1.
