Definitions

71-701. Definitions. As used in this act: (a) "Board of trustees" means the governing body of a community college. (b) "Campus" means the location of all or part of the buildings and facilities of a community college. (c) "Chief administrative officer" means the president or one so appointed by the board of trustees. (d) "Community college" means a public community college established under the provisions of this act. The official name of a community college shall be "the ______ community college" and the blank shall be filled with the name of the city or county. (e) "Community college district" means the taxing district of a community college. (f) "State board" means the state board of regents. (g) "Student tuition" means the charge made to and paid by students for the privilege of attending a community college and participating in the institutional program.
