Fire and extended coverage insurance

72-1879. Fire and extended coverage insurance. The board of education or other governing body of any school district may purchase fire and extended coverage insurance upon property of the school district or under its supervision and control and pay for the same out of the general fund or other appropriate fund of the school district.
