72-2160. Student teaching licenses; contracts for student teachers; cost. The board of education of any school district may enter into contracts with colleges and universities for the use of student teachers in the public schools. The state board of education, by rules and regulations, shall provide for the issuance of student teaching licenses and may authorize persons holding such student teaching licenses to assume responsibilities of teachers in schools within limitations prescribed by the state board.
