72-295. Study of state aid for career technical education programs. On or before January 15, 2014, the state board of education shall prepare a report to the legislature proposing a strategy and proposed plan for providing state aid to career technical education programs or courses in school districts. In preparing such report, the state board of education shall consider the funding scheme under the postsecondary tiered technical education state aid act. The report shall include, but not be limited to, recommendations for legislative changes and estimates of the cost to the state of implementing such changes. History: L. 2012, ch. 159, § 5; July 1.
