72-3350. Same; textbooks property of board; responsibility for. All books purchased by the board under the textbook rental plan shall remain the property of the board purchasing them and shall be rented to the pupils in the school only while such pupils are pursuing a course of study therein; the board shall hold such pupils responsible for any damages to, loss of, or failure to return such books at the time and to the person that may be designated by the board.
