72-3823. Report on pilot program from participating school districts and the Washburn institute of technology. A preliminary report from participating school districts and representatives from the Washburn institute of technology shall be presented to the house standing committee on education and the senate standing committee on education on or before February 1, 2023. Such report shall include, but not be limited to, the career technical areas of study pursued, accommodations required for student participation, unanticipated obstacles for course enrollment or completion, barriers for student participation and future funding needs. Such report shall serve as the foundation for determining whether to expand the pilot program to other regions of the state, the amount of funding required to expand the pilot program and how to address barriers that impact student participation.
