74-32,314. Student financial assistance programs; application and administration fees charged by state board. The chief executive officer of the state board of regents may fix, charge and collect fees for the processing of applications and other activities related to the administration of student financial assistance programs administered by the state board of regents. Such fees shall be fixed in amounts to recover all or a part of the direct and indirect operating expenses incurred for administering such programs. All moneys received by the state board of regents from the payment of such fees shall be deposited in the state treasury in accordance with K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto, and shall be credited to the financial aid services fee fund of the state board of regents.
