74-5033. Contracts for promotional advertising services; bidding exemption. The secretary of economic development is hereby authorized to negotiate and enter into contracts for promotional advertising services for the performance of the powers, duties and functions of the department of economic development under K.S.A. 74-5005 and amendments thereto. All such contracts shall be exempt from the competitive bid requirements of K.S.A. 75-3739 and any amendments thereto. History: L. 1982, ch. 336, § 1; April 29.
