74-5408. Penalties for violations of act. Any person, institution or corporation violating any provision of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or both. All material collected from the site by a convicted offender shall be delivered to the Kansas state historical society. History: L. 1967, ch. 433, § 8; July 1.
