75-2563. Contracts for computerized information and cataloging services; cost system; fees. (a) The state librarian may contract with any state agency or institution, any board of trustees of a community college, any board of education of a school district, the governing authority of any nonpublic school or any public library or any regional system of cooperating libraries for computerized information and cataloging services. (b) The state librarian, with the approval of the director of accounts and reports, shall maintain a cost system in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In accordance with such cost system, the state librarian shall fix, charge and collect fees for such computerized information and cataloging services to recover all or part of the operating expenses incurred therefor.
