75-42b07. Expiration of act; notification thereof by the Kansas public employees retirement system. (a) The provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2029. (b) On or after July 1, 2028, but before July 15, 2028, the Kansas public employees retirement system shall notify the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate and the chairperson of the joint committee on pensions, investments and benefits that this act is scheduled to expire on July 1, 2029.
