75-5083. Same; secretary of transportation; powers and duties; rules and regulations. (a) The secretary shall administer the provisions of K.S.A. 75-5081 through 75-5087, and amendments thereto, and shall be responsible for the administration and management of the fund, and shall have the power to enter into agreements and contracts and to transfer money between the state highway fund and the fund as required to effect the purposes of K.S.A. 75-5081 through 75-5087, and amendments thereto. (b) The secretary shall adopt rules and regulations, to carry out the purposes and provisions of K.S.A. 75-5081 through 75-5087, and amendments thereto. History: L. 2009, ch. 78, § 3; April 23.
