75-623a. Position vacancy, redesignation of position in unclassified service. (a) Whenever a classified position in the office of the state treasurer becomes vacant, the state treasurer is authorized to designate the position to be in the unclassified service under the Kansas civil service act. (b) Nothing in this section shall affect the status of being in the classified service of any person employed in the office of state treasurer on the date immediately preceding the effective date of this act.
