75-7717. Violations; penalties; notice; hearing. (a) Any person, firm, corporation or association that violates this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $5 but not more than $50. Each and every day that the person fails or refuses to comply with such provisions shall be deemed a separate offense under this act. If, for 30 days after any final conviction for such violation or revocation of license, the person still fails or refuses to comply with the orders in the notice under K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 75-7716, and amendments thereto, upon notice and opportunity for a hearing in accordance with the Kansas administrative procedure act, the building or premises where such day care facility is conducted may be closed until such person has complied with this act.
