76-11a11. Same; hearing officer opinion, findings of fact, recommendations; effect; appeal. (a) Unless otherwise agreed to by both the state board and the teacher, the hearing officer shall render a written decision not later than 30 days after the close of the hearing, setting forth the hearing officer's findings of fact and determination of the issues. The decision of the hearing officer shall be submitted to the teacher and to the state board. (b) The decision of the hearing officer shall be final, subject to review in accordance with the Kansas judicial review act.
