76-205. Official designation of Kansas state university Salina; separate agency for budget purposes. (a) The Kansas state university polytechnic campus, previously known as the Kansas college of technology prior to the merger with the Kansas state university of agriculture and applied science, is hereby renamed Kansas state university Salina. Whenever Kansas state university polytechnic campus, or words of like effect, is referred to or designated by any statute, contract or other document, such reference or designation shall be deemed to apply to Kansas state university Salina. (b) Commencing in fiscal year 2025, Kansas state university Salina shall be considered a separate line item and state general fund account in the budget documents and bills concerning Kansas state university.
