76-323a. Annual mining production reports to state geologist, exceptions. It shall be the duty of the owner or operator of every mine in this state to submit to the state geologist of the state geological survey an annual report upon forms provided therefor by the state geologist. Such report shall indicate the total amount of production of minerals taken from such mine during the reporting period and shall contain such other information as may be required by the state geologist. Nothing in this section shall be deemed to apply to any excavation from which sand or gravel is taken or to any rock quarry. History: L. 1977, ch. 190, § 2; July 1.
