8-278. Same; rules and regulations. (a) The department is authorized to prescribe by rules and regulations, standards for the eligibility, conduct and operation of driver training schools and instructors and to adopt other reasonable rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this act. (b) All rules and regulations of the state board of education pertaining to functions of the driver's training school license act in existence on July 1, 2022, shall continue to be effective and shall be deemed to be duly adopted rules and regulations of the secretary of revenue until revised, amended, revoked or nullified pursuant to law. (c) All orders and directives of the state department of education pertaining to functions of the driver's training school license act on July 1, 2022, shall continue to be effective and shall be deemed to be orders and directives of the department until revised, amended or nullified by the state director of vehicles.
