80-2551. Health care facilities and services hospital districts; existence continued under act. (a) Any health care facilities and services hospital district existing on the effective date of this act is hereby continued in existence, and any existing board shall be deemed to be the board for purposes of this act unless and until a new board is selected. (b) This act shall not affect any judicial proceeding pending or any contract, tax levy, bond issuance or other legal obligation existing on the effective date of this act and any tax levy or bond issuance made under authority of article 21 of chapter 80 of Kansas Statutes Annotated prior to the effective date of this act is hereby validated and confirmed.
