84-8-111. Clearing corporation rules. A rule adopted by a clearing corporation governing rights and obligations among the clearing corporation and its participants in the clearing corporation is effective even if the rule conflicts with this act and affects another party who does not consent to the rule. History: L. 1996, ch. 202, § 38; July 1. KANSAS COMMENT, 1996 This section is new and replaces the provisions of former 84-8-320 to the extent they attempted to regulate the industry. The Revisor's Notes indicate the drafters felt Article 8 was not the proper place to make those policy decisions. This section also replaces the former nonuniform Kansas provision of 84-8-108.
