9-2221. Computation of any period of time under act. (a) Calendar days shall be used in computing any period of time. The day of the act, event or default from which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included in such computation. Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays shall be included in such computation. If the last day of the period so computed is a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday, the period shall run until the end of the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday. "Legal holiday" shall include any day designated as a holiday by the federal reserve bank. (b) This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the Kansas mortgage business act.
