9-561. Federal law controls when inconsistent with this act; interpretive guidance provided by commissioner. (a) If the jurisdiction of state money transmission is conditioned on federal law, any inconsistencies between a provision of this act and such federal law governing money transmission shall be governed by the applicable federal law to the extent of such inconsistency. (b) If there are any inconsistencies between this act and any federal law that governs pursuant to subsection (a), the commissioner may provide interpretive guidance that identifies the: (1) Inconsistency; and (2) appropriate means of compliance with federal law.
