Title XVIII, Public Health

It is the intent of KRS 212.810 to 212.930 to enable counties within various areas of the state to join together in the formation of a district health department to improve the delivery of health services to the people.

As used in 212.810 to 212.930, unless the content requires otherwise: (1) "Cabinet" means the Cabinet for Health and Family Services; and (2) "Health officer" means the chief administrative officer of the district health department.
