§1042. Franchise agreements; provisions for dispute resolution Unless provisions of a business franchise agreement provide otherwise, when the business to be conducted pursuant to the agreement and the business location of the franchisee are exclusively in this state, disputes arising under a business franchise agreement shall be resolved in a forum inside this state and interpretation of the provisions of the agreement shall be governed by the laws of this state.
