Purpose It is the purpose of this Chapter to provide a professional growth program to assist classroom teachers in realizing their potential by establishing a teacher mentor program of formative professional assistance to identify and isolate the characteristics of a teacher's performance so that strengths can be built upon and weaknesses remedied.
