§4. Governing bodies' authority to prohibit hourly rentals Any municipality or city or parish governing authority may prohibit any hotel, motel, or inn or bed and breakfast from charging for a room for less than a twenty-four-hour period. No such entity shall charge an hourly rate. Acts 2001, No. 920, §1.
