§31.8. Suspension of payments due to imprisonment after conviction of a crime Whenever any member of the legislature is imprisoned after conviction of a crime, the payment of the compensation and allowances under the provisions of R.S. 24:31.1, R.S. 24:31.4, R.S. 24:31.5, and R.S. 24:31.6 shall be suspended.
