§454.8. Judicial commitment; appeals A person who is involuntarily committed shall be allowed to appeal devolutively from the order to the court of appeal. Upon perfection of an appeal, it shall be heard in a summary manner taking preference over all other cases except similar matters. Acts 2005, No. 128, §1, eff. June 22, 2005.
