§1474. Time limitation No person shall be declared a habitual offender under the provisions of this Chapter unless the department certifies the offender's conviction record as provided in R.S. 32:1473 and serves the notice required in R.S. 32:1475 on such person within one year of the date of last conviction which brings that person within the definition of a habitual offender.
