§1221.2. Lincoln Parish governing authority; limitation of number of terms; exclusion of retirement system participation Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the governing authority of the parish of Lincoln may, by ordinance, limit the number of terms a member thereof may serve, and exclude members thereof from participation in the otherwise applicable public retirement system, subject to approval of a majority of the electors voting at an election held for the purpose.
