§130.81. Wards 4 and 6 Economic Development Board of Beauregard Parish; creation; purpose The Wards 4 and 6 Economic Development Board of Beauregard Parish is hereby created. The primary purpose of the board shall be to promote, encourage, and participate in economic development activities for wards 4 and 6 of Beauregard Parish. These activities include but shall not be limited to endeavors that will accomplish or enhance the opportunity for any of the following: (1) Growth, development, and prosperity of the Wards 4 and 6 area. (2) Development of existing commercial structures. (3) Development of underutilized resources. (4) Development of the tax base. (5) Coordination of public and private programs. Acts 2010, No. 87, §1.
