§1041. Definitions As used in this Part, the following term have the meaning ascribed to them in this Section, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) "Board of examiners" means the Board of Examiners for New Orleans and Baton Rouge steamship pilots for the Mississippi River, established in R.S. 34:1042. (2) "Pilot" means a New Orleans and Baton Rouge Steamship Pilot, as designated in R.S. 34:1043. Amended by Acts 1988, No. 418, §1, eff. July 10, 1988; Acts 2015, No. 18, §1, eff. May 26, 2015.
