§2853. Penalties Any person who violates any provision of this Chapter, or any person who falsely states or represents that he has been or is a certified polygraphist or trainee shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the offender shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or be imprisoned in the parish jail for a term of not to exceed six months, or both.
