§1797. Duties of Department of Public Works The Department of Public Works shall upon request advise, without cost, the governing authority of any gravity drainage district or gravity sub-drainage district, as to the desirability, sufficiency, and practicability of any contemplated works and may make the necessary surveys and examinations therefor.
