§2193. Liability of beneficiary If the trust estate is not sufficient to indemnify a trustee for expenses properly incurred by him in the administration of a trust, a beneficiary shall be personally liable only if the trustee can show an express or implied contract between that beneficiary and himself that would entitle the trustee to indemnity.
