TEMPORARY FILING Title 24 – Mississippi Department of Mental Health Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Certification Criteria (new rule). This is a TEMPORARY filing in a manual format to establish immediately needed criteria for DMH’s certification of eligible agencies as CCBHCs in Mississippi. Through these temporary rules, application for CCBHC certification through DMH is by invitation only for eligible agencies. In approximately April 2024, DMH plans to integrate these temporary CCBHC criteria into a proposed amendment (via the traditional, non-temporary filing process) to the existing Title 24; Part 2 – Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) Operational Standards for Mental Health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Community Service Providers, which promulgates rules for agencies which are certified or are seeking certification by DMH

: The proposed change in Part 2820 requires that licensee’s update their address electronically instead of notifying the board in writing. The amendment also adds a requirement for a physical address. This is to address issues with service when certified mail is sent to the licensee from the board
