Adding two definitions to Rule 1.2.

To repeal Title 7, Education K-12, Part 3, Chapter 25 and Rule 25.1 Conversion Charter Schools in accordance with Miss. Code Ann. § 25-43-3.114 which requires an agency to review all of its rules at least every five years to determine whether any rules should be repealed, amended, or a new rule adopted.

This rule is being amended to increase the amount of self-study and distance learning continuing education hours allowed and to clarify the number of hours that require Board approval. This rule is also being filed as a temporary rule to be effective immediately as it affects the public health and safety.

These revisions are necessary to update the Petroleum Products Inspection Law Regs. The amendments will help reduce the number of duplicative and unnecessary regulations for the MS Department of Agriculture &amp Commerce and will promote efficiency.
