Notice Letters to the Custodial Parent’s Regarding Contempt Actions

Amending existing rule to clarify prohibitions based upon the continuing Chronic Wasting Disease research and management practices, and technical amendments.

The amendment brings Rule 7.6.1 Item 5 and Rule 7.6.1 Item 6. in line with § 41-58-3 (7)(e) of the Medical Radiation Technology registration statute. The amendment also clarifies the rule.

Notice Letters to CP's on Contempt Actions

Due to the delay of gasoline deliveries caused the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipelines computer network system, the Department issues this temporary rule to provide a waiver for ASTM Reid Vapor Pressure Specifications related to gasoline and gasoline blended with one or more percent ethanol. The reasoning for this waiver is to avoid supply disruptions for Mississippi and other states affected by the cyberattack through May 31, 2021 or until supplies are depleted from storage. This should provide a greater supply of gasoline for sale in the state.

Part 5 Ch. 17 proposed new rule will define MDAH policies in regards to the archaeology collection.

Part 5 Ch. 11 proposed amendments will clarify MDAH policies in regards to the Mississippi Museum Store.

Part 5 Ch. 1 proposed amendments will define MDAH policies in regards to the Museum Division collections.

Part 5 Ch. 17 proposed new rule will define MDAH policies in regards to the archaeology collection.

The Amended Rules and Regulations will allow MDA to better administer the program. Specific legal authority authorizing the promulgation of rule: Miss. Code Ann. § 57-1-301; Miss. Code Ann. § 57-1-305; Miss. Code Ann. § 57-1-11

The MS State Board of Massage Therapy has not met and voted on these rules.

The Amended Rules and Regulations will allow MDA to better administer the program.

Include acceptance of ProTraining, LLC as an approved CPR/FA provider; update website address; add provisions to comply with Fresh Start Act of 2019; clarify fines and penalties; reapplication fee categories; continuing education sign-in sheet requirements; include provisions applicable to the issuance of a license to applicants who are members of the military, or married to or dependents of the military (Military Freedom Act)(SB2117) ; include rule modifications made by the Board under the Governor’s state of emergency; deleted rules that were identical to statute; to correct typographical errors in previous Rules; and make changes due to the passage of House Bill 1263 and the MS Massage Therapy Act.

These new regulations implement a program to be administered by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (“MDEQ”), whereby applicant high hazard dam owners may apply for a grant to assist them with work on eligible high hazard dams in the state to improve the safety of such dams, and the applicant must provide matching funds of at least 35 percent of the grant amount.
