Proclamation suspending the provisions of Miss. Code Ann. § 73-7-7 requiring Board of Health approval for sanitation rules created to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Proclamation also suspends Miss. Code Ann. § 73-7-37’s limit of $500 for fines for rules created to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Suspension of these provision is necessary for quick implementation of temporary rule 7.16, which establishes penalties for opening in violation of an executive order of the governor.

Section 75-75-1 to obtain a license to practice in Mississippi for behavior analysts who (1) are duly licensed in another state, (2) limit their practice within the state of Mississippi to the telehealth treatment of existing clients; and (3) complete and return a form supplied by the Board before practicing in this state

Due to the reduction in demand for motor fuels due to the COVID-19 emergency, The Department issues this temporary rule to provide a waiver for ASTM Reid Vapor Pressure Specifications related to gasoline and gasoline blended with one or more percent ethanol. The reasoning for this waiver is to avoid supply disruptions for Mississippi and other states affected by the COVID-19 emergency for the time period of May 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020. This should provide a greater supply of gasoline for sale in the state.

This Administrative Code filing is being submitted to withdraw the proposed rule APA 24857 effective immediately.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, most of us at DHS are working from home; because of this we need to add one of our agency divisions to our current policy section: Agencies Providing Assistance or Service, so the division will be able to obtain information from Child Support without an in-person signature.
