The Mississippi legislature amended Miss. Code Ann. § 73-9-5, wherein it authorized the general supervision of dental hygienists under specific conditions. The Board adopted temporary amendments to Board Regulation 13 to implement the change in law

This is an amendment to Board Regulation 30 that approves the use of prior advanced anesthesia permit holders, as recommended by the Anesthesia Advisory Panel, to perform onsite inspections of dental facilities that utilize anesthesia

R 1.4 amends ambiguous non-statutory language regarding legal gaming sites and cites specific statutory requirements. R 1.6 cites specific statutory requirements for property interest in a gaming structure prior to licensing and operation, and cites payment requirements for in-lieu tidelands assessments. R 2.4 removes burdensome requirements already imposed by Coast Guard, DHS and other agencies. R 10.1 adds tolling period for work permit expiration during investigation. All other are typo and citation fixes

R 1.16 new rule for tournaments and promotions, to match statutory language already in place and describe process for notification of rules and resolution of disputes; R 2.1-2.2 reduces required employees to perform drops, reduces frequency of meter recordings; R. 6.1-6.10 amend surveillance rules to reduce required staff and logging requirements; R 9.1 removes burdensome rules on unsupervised minors; R 10.1-10.7 amend for easier self-exclusion process; R 11.5, 11.7 and 11.8 clarify language and reduce drop staff required
