Proposed Regulations

These rules and regulations are promulgated in order to implement the Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing Program Act, Mississippi Senate Bill No. 2530, 2024 Regular Legislative Session. These Rules and Regulations create a framework for the administration and enforcement of the provisions of the Act

Adding Mississippi Code citations which were not available when rules were first adopted. Moving Rule 2.1 to become Rule 1.1(3) as it should be included within the general description of BEAM. Moving the remainder of Chapter 2, addressing CPF grant funds, to Chapter 10, to be in sequence with subsequent grant programs and editing rules to incorporate updates needed upon receipt of additional guidance from the U.S. Treasury

Allows collection of milk samples from dairy farms to test for avian influenza. This rule must be adopted on an emergency basis due to an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in dairy cows, which constitutes an imminent peril to the public health, safety and welfare
