Educator preparation program responsibilities

All candidates graduating from educator preparation programs (EPPs) in Mississippi in the areas of social studies, science, and English - Language Arts Education for Grades 4 through 8 shall be required to successfully complete a reading training program approved by the department, or an equivalent reading training program approved by the department before certification.
