(1) The segment of Mississippi Highway 46 located in Webster County, Mississippi, commencing at the Webster County line and extending westerly for a distance of approximately one (1) mile toward the Village of Mantee, Webster County, Mississippi, and terminating at its intersection with Main Street, is designated and shall be known as the “Joe Eddie Lofton Memorial Highway.”
(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
