(1) A virtual currency kiosk operator shall not accept transactions of more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per day in cash or the equivalent in virtual currency for new customers and Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) per day in cash or the equivalent in virtual currency for existing customers.
(2) A virtual currency kiosk operator shall hold the funds received in the first virtual currency kiosk transaction by a new customer in a non-interest-bearing account for a period of ninety-six (96) hours before completing the transaction, and the new customer may not carry out another transaction during the ninety-six-hour holding period. After the ninety-six-hour period following the first transaction, the new customer may make daily transactions.
(3) The transaction limit for new customers shall not exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) in cash or the equivalent in virtual currency in the fourteen-day period after the first virtual currency kiosk transaction with the virtual currency kiosk operator.
(4) The virtual currency kiosk operator shall issue a refund of the full amount of the transaction if requested by the customer within the initial ninety-six-hour holding period under subsection (2) of this section.
