Toll-free hotline; referral to Attorney General

The commissioner shall establish a toll-free hotline and other information collection processes for the purposes of receiving information concerning the failure of a first purchaser licensee to make timely payments for the purchase of grain and information concerning any suspected fraudulent activity of a first purchaser licensee. Upon receipt of information from the hotline or other information collection processes established by the commissioner, the commissioner shall take such action as the commissioner determines to be appropriate, including referral of the matter to the Attorney General. Information received through the hotline shall not be subject to disclosure.
