The board is authorized to impose monetary penalties and take such other disciplinary actions as authorized by Sections 75-57-1 through 75-57-63 and Sections 75-57-101 through 75-57-119.
(a) Any person found by the board in violation of Sections 75-57-1 through 75-57-63 and Sections 75-57-101 through 75-57-119 or any regulations promulgated by the board shall be subject to the following civil penalties:(a) For a first offense, a penalty not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00);(b) For a second offense, a penalty not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00); and(c) For a third or subsequent offense, a penalty not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

Any person who violates or remains in violation of the provisions hereof may be directed by written notice from the board, stating the facts of such violation, to correct the violation. The notice may be served personally or by U.S. Mail with return receipt requested to the principal office or the person or to their residence.
