(a) Sections 85-7-301 through 85-7-315 shall not apply to:(a) A cause of action filed by a person who received care, treatment or services from a qualifying hospital or a qualifying practice whose medical costs were paid by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.(b) Any monies becoming due under the Workers’ Compensation Law.
