Subdivision may accept gifts for recreational purposes. — The governing body of any political subdivision may accept or reject any grant or devise of real estate or any gift or bequest of any other project or any donation to be applied, principal or income, for either temporary or permanent use for recreational grounds or other recreational purpose.
